In Oak class we start each day with tacpac, which ensures we are all in a ‘just right state’ and ready to get on with our days learning.
As a sixth form class, we follow a timetable aimed at promoting our independence and getting us ready to transition to the next stage in our education. We enjoy learning about our wellbeing, life skills and functional skills. Although currently unable to access the local community, this does not stop us from learning about the local area and being safe.
As a class and also individually, we engage in regular personalised sessions with the physiotherapists, OT’s and the speech and language team.
We are supported by our Class teachers and TA’s who are all caring and make sure our learning is fun and engaging.
