Isibindi Class is four Year 13 students and two Year 12 students. We are learning about being responsible and safe in the community. We are also taking part in projects with Youth Action and are volunteering in the local community.
We take part in Duke of Edinburgh activities and look forward to applying our skills on walks and camps in the local area. We are looking forward to planning for our future Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award which will include an overnight practice and assessed camping expeditions.
There is a strong focus on our independent skills in variety of contexts both in the community and in school. We explore this through Home Management, Community, enrichment activities and Key Skills.
We will raise money for different charities through sponsored events; for example coffee mornings, soup making and walks.
The Isibindi’s frequently travel on public transport to visit places of interest. We enjoy bowling and eating lunch out at different places. We love taking part in sports and enjoy regular football coaching and other sporting activities.
